Content creators Chezka Carandang and Claire Inso call off engagement

Chezka Carandang and Claire Inso, fellow pilots and social media influencers, ended 2025 on a bittersweet note as they broke off their engagement after eight years of being together.

On the morning of New Year's Eve, Carandang, who is a commercial pilot, posted on social media a montage of videos showing herself and ex-fiancée Inso, a licensed private pilot, enjoying different destinations around the world. 

With the montage set to Coldplay's Fix You, Carandang wrote, "Not every connection is meant to last forever, and an ending is not a failure. Sometimes, it's a sign of growth and completion. Sometimes, it is a sign of the truest love of all—the willingness to let someone chase the life that's calling to them." 

"After much reflection, I had to put off the engagement and we’ve mutually decided to go our separate ways," Carandang continued, adding that the former couple was grateful for their relationship and asked for privacy. 

Concluding her post, Carandang thanked their followers. 

Inso has yet to post on her own social media pages. 

Carandang and Inso both have a strong following on social media, where they often share content of their relationship, aviation careers, travels, and slice-of-life videos. 

The former couple got engaged in August 2024 during a trip to Tanzania, Africa. They uploaded their engagement video on Carandang's YouTube channel.
