Supermodel Adriana Lima takes swipe at critics who comment on her post-baby appearance
Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima took a swipe at critics who commented on her appearance at the red carpet premiere of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes in Los Angeles last Nov. 14.
During the premiere, Adriana wore a black and red mini-dress. She also had full makeup with bold red lipstick and styled her hair sleek and straightly.
Some social media users juxtaposed her latest photo with old ones. Others asked if something had happened to Adriana, while others claimed she had undergone cosmetic procedures, Good Morning America reported.
The following day, the 42-year-old shared a selfie on Instagram Story with a bare face and ponytail as she wore a black hoodie.
"The face of a tired mom of one teenage girl, two preteens, a 1-year-old learning to walk, and three dogs,” she wrote over the image. "Thanks for your concern.”
Adriana was a Victoria’s Secret Angel from 1999 to 2018, the longest-running model of the lingerie brand.
She married basketball player Marko Jarić in 2009 and divorced in 2016. They have two children.
In 2021, Adriana started film producer Andre Lemmers, who has two children from a previous relationship. Their firstborn was born in August 2022.
During her comeback appearance at a Victoria’s Secret event last April, Adriana told PEOPLE Magazine she reminds herself every day, “Listen, accept who you are. Accept your body.”
"Everybody has a different reaction with pregnancy and post-pregnancy," she said.
