Andrea Brillantes’ old vlog has been recirculating on social media, where she said she would rather make Ricci Rivero her friend than her boyfriend before they even met.
When asked about the athlete in a “Jojowain o Trotropahin” video published in April 2021, she immediately said: “Tropa. Hindi ko pa po siya nakikilala personally, pero kasi diba ‘pag basketball player, manloloko daw?”
A year later, she and Ricci sparked dating speculations after being spotted together on a night out.
The two made the rounds online on April 9 as Ricci made his relationship official with Andrea. The “proposal” took place after the UP Fighting Maroons’ 83-76 win over the FEU Tamaraws at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. In a clip uploaded on Facebook, he was seen saying on the mic: “Can I ask Blythe to be my girlfriend?”
Two men held up “YES” and “NO” shirts, and the actress picked up the one that said “YES.”
