BTS’ Jungkook graduates from Global Cyber University with prestigious President’s Award
The “golden maknae” or youngest member of BTS is officially a college graduate!
BTS’ Jungkook has completed his bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting and Entertainment from Global Cyber University in Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. He also received the prestigious President's Award—a high distinction given to graduates during the ceremony.
Jungkook, who wasn’t able to attend his in-person graduation, congratulated his peers in a pre-recorded acceptance speech on Thursday, March 3.
“They say graduation is both an ending and a beginning, but it makes me excited and emotional at the same time. Thank you for the valuable award,” Jungkook said.
The BTS superstar added that learning is a “valuable moment” that helps individuals “move towards our goal.”
“I [also] think learning something is always fun, wonderful, and exciting. We will all not miss the valuable moment and move towards our goal as we are now,” Jungkook said.
Six out of seven BTS members have attended Global Cyber University, namely, Jungkook, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and V.
Meanwhile, Jin graduated from Konkuk University in February 2017 and has since enrolled in graduate school at Hanyang Cyber University.
