Jopay Paguia says yes to Joshua Zamora's surprise proposal at SexBomb Girls’ concert

Love took center stage at the SexBomb Girls' rAWnd 4 reunion concert when member Jopay Paguia received a surprise proposal from her husband Joshua Zamora.

The surprise unfolded when Jopay was in the middle of a solo performance dancing to Jopay by Mayonnaise while wearing a superhero costume. As she was being spun in the air by a background dancer, Joshua was behind her, preparing to pop the question a second time, together with their daughters Alessa and Ariana.

After giving a bow to the cheering crowd, Jopay turned around and was met with an emotional sight—Joshua down on one knee, holding out a ring as their children stood beside him.

The moment drew loud cheers from the audience as an overwhelmed Jopay covered her face in surprise.

"Our super mom," Joshua said before raising the ring and asking, "Will you marry me again?"

Jopay had only one thing to say: "Yes."

Joshua then teased her by saying that the audience couldn't hear her answer and asked her to say it louder, to which she tearfully exclaimed, "I said yes!"

As Joshua slipped the ring on her finger, Jopay couldn't help but say, "Nanginginig ako."

The pair shared a loving embrace with their children before sealing the moment with a romantic kiss, much to the crowd's excitement.

"Grabe sinurprise niyo naman ako. Sabi mo sasayaw ka lang," Jopay told Joshua on stage. "Maraming maraming salamat, kasi Joshua, ang dami kong pinagdaanan recently. Nandiyan siya, lagi siyang naka-suporta sakin pati sa dalawang anak ko. Thank you so much. I love you."

The two of them first tied the knot in 2014 and are now set to celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary this June.

The SexBomb Girls are currently in the midst of a busy concert run with their ongoing reunion shows, which first kicked off in December last year.

The group was founded by choreographer Joy Cancio in 1999. They rose to fame as dancers on the noontime show Eat Bulaga, before eventually expanding into singing and acting.

They became the best-selling girl group in Asia during the 2000s, following their induction into the Box Office Entertainment Awards' Hall of Fame in 2007, after they won the "Most Popular Dance Group" award for five consecutive years.
