Angel Locsin's X account got hacked, the actress confirmed on her official Facebook page on Jan. 13.

Earlier in the day, Locsin, whose last tweet was on Aug. 1, 2022, rose out of nowhere to supposedly promote cryptocurrency.

Fans also spotted her positively replying to tweets about billionaire Elon Musk.

"ATTENTION: Please note that @143redangel, Angel Locsin’s account on X (formerly Twitter), has been hacked. Any replies or tweets from this account are not from Angel. Please be cautious," Locsin, through her page's administrators, said in a Facebook post.

The 39-year-old actress also shared screenshots of her account's unusual tweets, including a false declaration that she wasn't hacked.

"Hello guys , My post was not intended to make you think anything wrong about me. I found that giveaway online and joined as well. My account is not hacked, so stay chill. Love ya!" the tweet read.

"And i'm back on X!!!! :x," a follow-up tweet read.

In another Facebook post on Jan. 14, Locsin warned her followers about the incident.

"WARNING. A series of reposts was made by Angel Locsin's X account @143redangel yesterday. This was not Angel," she said. "Please do not click on the links posted. She is currently working on getting back access to her account."

Locsin's husband Neil Arce on Instagram Story also dismissed the account's false tweet about retrieving the page.

"Account not yet recovered. We will be the one to inform everyone if we got it back already," Arce said in a text caption over a screenshot of the account's tweet that read, "got my acc back! thank you for massive sharing! love."

To date, the account's suspicious tweets are gone.

Locsin's account, created in 2009, has over 12.3 million followers as of writing. She has been on a social media hiatus since 2022, including on Instagram, which is not set to private.

She last appeared on television in 2019, in ABS-CBN's teleserye The General's Daughter.
