'Zombies' star Carla Jeffery dies at 33
Carla Jeffery, best known for playing Bree in Disney’s Zombies franchise, has died at 33.
The actress passed away on Sept. 1, according to a statement shared by her longtime talent agency, Alexanders Talent Management, on Instagram.
"Watching her grow from a talented young girl into the beautiful, vibrant woman and actress she became was an incredible privilege,” her agency said, adding that they will remember Jeffery for her infectious smile, laughter, talent, and the joy she brought to the people around her.
The cause of her death was not specified.
Alexanders Talent Management asked the public to respect the privacy of Jeffery’s family and loved ones as they mourn her death.
“Rest beautifully, Carla. You will be deeply missed and forever loved,” her management said.
Jeffery appeared as Bree, one of the cheerleaders in the Zombies franchise. She also had roles in television shows including Shake It Up, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Southland, Good Luck Charlie, and American Vandal.
