WATCH: Robi Domingo and Maiqui Pineda reflect on their love story in pre-wedding film
Robi Domingo and Maiqui Pineda took a trip down memory lane and reflected on their love story in a pre-wedding film.
The seven-minute video produced by Treehouse Story shows Robi and Maiqui reminiscing about the early days of their romance. One of the questions Robi asked his fiance was about what her friends thought when she finally decided to go on a date with him.
"They were helping me prepare because I was so nervous," she confessed. "I didn't know what to wear, so I had to try on different clothes, different shoes, and accessories."
Robi admitted that he, too, felt pressure that night because he had no idea how to keep their conversation going then.
"My work revolves around interviews, talk shows, reality shows, pero that night, hindi ko alam kung paano sisimulan 'yung kwento kasi baka ito na 'yung simula ng everything for me," he said.
"'Yung first date natin was just a chill night. It was very deep 'no? Kasi I made you write things that you would want to happen in your life," he added.
Their conversation in the video was followed by a compilation of their adorable moments together, with SB19's hit song Liham playing in the background.
Near the end of the film, Robi opened the topic on Maiqui's battle with a rare autoimmune disease, saying, "What you're going through is hard, but everytime I see you, I see hope."
"It was hard, but I just held on to the vision of us, actually, in that church getting married in front of everyone we love and starting a life together. That's what was in my head, and it made things easier. You made things easier," Maiqui said.
Robi then asked whether they're 100% ready to take their relationship to the next level.
"So, final answer, sure na? Game na?" Robi asked.
Maiqui answered, "Game na."

Robi and Maiqui were college batchmates at the Ateneo de Manila University. They confirmed their romance in 2018 and announced their engagement four years later.
