Kris Aquino continued to ask for prayers as she shared a glimpse of her struggles with lupus flare fever that has been going on for over two weeks now.

The "Queen of All Media," who is battling multiple autoimmune diseases, took to her Instagram page on Tuesday, April 1 to share an update on her health.

"This is MY NOW… [I] wanted you to see the pain and struggle so that you will continue to pray. [I] have a Lupus Flare fever now. It’s been more than 2 weeks," she captioned her post.

In the clip, the multimedia personality shared photos of bruises on her legs and hands and flushed cheeks while suffering from lupus flare fever. Other pictures showed that her current weight is at 37.3 kg, and that her body temperature has reached over 38 degrees Celsius.

Kris also shared videos of her walking, taking medical checkups, and being assisted by her son, Bimby.

Lupus is an autoimmune disease that occurs when the body's immune system attacks its own tissues and organs. When active, it can cause a "flare" which has symptoms including painful, swollen joints, an increase in fatigue, rashes, and more, according to Lupus Foundation of America. It can be triggered by emotional and physical stress.

Fans and celebrities, including Francis Libiran, Cherry Pie Picache, and Gary Valenciano expressed their messages of support for Kris in the comments section of her post.

"Praying for you Kris," Gary Valenciano wrote.

"Praying for you, Ate Kris!!!!" Iza Calzado commented.

Kris is battling several autoimmune diseases while dealing with fibromyalgia, which triggers pain and tenderness throughout the body; polymyositis, an inflammatory disease that leads to muscle weakness; and mixed connective tissue disease, which combines disorders such as lupus, scleroderma, and polymyositis.
