Sharon Cuneta has set the record straight regarding her relationship with daughter KC Concepcion, her only child with ex Gabby Concepcion.

In a two-part video interview with Ogie Diaz, an emotional Sharon bared her emotions, admitting she misses her relationship with her daughter.

At the end of the first vlog, Ogie asked Sharon, "Madalas umiyak si Mega pagdating kay KC. Bakit?"

To which the actress answered: "I think marami ring nakakaalam na hindi naman lahat ng anak mo makakasundo mo nang pare-pareho. You will love all of them equally." 'Yan ang unang unang prinsesa ko na only my children are the people I would die for," she added.

Sharon then proceeded to admit that she and KC have very different personalities, adding that it is inevitable for them to clash.

"The thing is we are very—sabihin na nating north and south—we are very opposite sa pag-uugali siguro. Tapos pareho pa kaming bullheaded at strong-willed..." she said.

For her, the most painful accusation that she learned of was that she did not want KC to become a celebrity. The Megastar said that she wanted to let her daughter join when she was ready.

She admitted being preoccupied at times with her thoughts about KC being distant.

Sharon also said that when she and Gabby separated, she wasn't perfect but nevertheless tried her best to be a good role model for her daughter, to become independent and empowered as a woman.

Ogie also asked if their relationship is okay, Sharon bluntly answered: "Okay kami, minsan hindi. Parang okay ngayon, bukas hindi. That's the truth. Actually parang I don't know anything about my eldest daughter's life, very little lang alam ko. Since bata siya hindi naman siya nag-o-open up sa'kin unlike her siblings," she said.

The Megastar concluded that she is nevertheless proud of KC and who she has grown up to become, while still keeping her in the family's prayers.

"That's my biggest pain.

KC on Feb. 26 posted a photo of herself from her beach trip in Batangas. She recently reunited with her father, Gabby, whom she apparently had not seen for a long time.

Just last month, KC surprised her mom on her 57th birthday celebration with a touching post: "For the rest of my life, I will always declare, that it’s been—is, and will always be—an honor and privilege to be your eldest daughter."
