BLACKPINK’s Rosé cancels some of her overseas activities after testing positive for COVID-19
Sad news for Blinks and Fanses.
BLACKPINK’s Rosé suspended some of her overseas activities after she tested positive for COVID-19.
In a statement by YG Entertainment, Rosé has been diagnosed with COVID-19 before traveling for her overseas activities on Monday, Feb. 28. Her entertainment agency also confirmed that she’s not showing any symptoms.
YG added that members Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa tested negative.
“All four members of BLACKPINK have completed their COVID-19 vaccination, and we will prioritize the health of our artists and staff members and spare no effort [for their well-being]. We would appreciate it if you could show support for Rosé’s rapid recovery as well as the BLACKPINK members who are active globally.” YG Entertainment said, as per a translation by Soompi.
The entertainment agency said they will provide any updates should there be any changes on BLACKPINK’s schedules.
BLACKPINK’s Lisa previously recovered from COVID-19 on Dec. 4 after she tested positive last Nov. 24.
