Comedian and TV host Wally Bayola figured in a motorcycle accident in Camarines Sur on March 29. He is now in stable condition.

According to a report by News 5, Bayola, 53, was traveling with a group from Metro Manila to Naga City when his motorcycle hit a pothole on Andaya Highway in Barangay Bel-Cruz, Lupi. He fell and sustained several injuries, per the responding team from the Bureau of Fire Protection – Lupi Fire Station.

"Upon arrival at the scene, a 53-year-old male was found conscious, with multiple abrasions on both the upper and lower extremities sustained from a motorcycle accident. The patient was also noted to have limited mobility on his right leg, suggesting a possible injury," BFP Lupi Camarines Sur wrote in a statement on social media.

"An initial assessment was conducted, and vital signs were monitored. Wound care was administered, and the affected areas were properly stabilized. The patient was carefully secured and prepared for transport," BFP Lupi added.

After securing Bayola at the site, the team transported him to Bicol Medical Center for evaluation and medical management.

A few hours later, BFP-Lupi reported two more motorcycle accidents in the same area. According to the responding team, both individuals, who were traveling separately, also suffered multiple abrasions on different parts of their bodies. Both, however, refused further medical care in a hospital, and were released from care at the site after being given basic first aid and wound care.

In the early hours of March 30, on its official Facebook page, the TVJ team (Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, his Eat Bulaga! co-hosts) shared Bayola is now in stable condition

"Sa mga nangangamusta kay Dabarkads Wally, maayos na po ang kanyang kalagayan. Maliban sa kaunting sugat at bukol, maayos at ligtas na po ang kanyang kalagayan" TVJ wrote.

"Lagi tayong mag-ingat, Dabarkads!" they added.
