Marian Rivera opens up on her insecurites with speaking English: 'Very big deal 'yan sa'tin ngayon eh'
Marian Rivera admitted that still has some things she lacks confidence in, particularly her skill in speaking in English.
The actress opened up about this in a recent interview with Karen Davila where she was asked whether she still experiences insecurity.
Nung nagpunta lang ako sa Maynila, parang you need to be fluent in English. When you have an interview, you have to [speak in English]," she continued.
Despite the pressure to be proficient in speaking the language, Marian said that she never succumbed to it as her husband, Dingdong Dantes, would tell her that she is perfect as she is.
"Kaya sobrang love ko itong asawa ko. Sabi niya, 'No. Mahal ka namin bilang ikaw.' But you can improve yourself if you really want to be fluent in English. Why not?
When it comes to her relationship with Dingdong, Marian also confessed that there were moments when she felt jealousy in the past.
My God, napaka-ipokrita noon," she said.
Dapat pala, [kay Dingdong] ako nagre-react," she added.
But the local star shared that all is well now as she had made amends with the women she had conflict with in the past.
[S]a isip-isip ko lang, 'Learn your lesson girl ha. 'Wag mo nang gawin sa iba yan,'" she said
Open to having third baby.
Marian and Dingdong's family may get bigger soon as the actress got candid about how they're open to having one more child.
Marian shared.
But if you will ask me, I want one more,'" she continued.
Whatever their decision may be, Marian has full faith that her husband will be there to support her every step of the way.
Kami, tagumpay mo, tagumpay ko," she added.
