Charlie Dizon confirms relationship with Carlo Aquino

Charlie Dizon has finally confirmed her romance with Carlo Aquino.

In her recent guesting on TV5’s Gud Morning Kapatid, the 27-year-old actress referred to Carlo as her boyfriend when a photo of them flashed on the screen during one of the show's segments.

“Opo, boyfriend ko po. Sobrang supportive din. Ay, first time ko sinabi sa inyo 'yan,” she shared. 

“Dati kasi, magkawork kami, pero long time ago. Dun lang kami naging friends. Pero after that, hindi na kami nakapag-usap. Tapos last year na-U.S. tour 'yung Star Magic, dun kami mas nagkakilala,” she said. 

The actress highlighted how their different personalities balance out and complement each other. 

“Paano nag-click? 'Di ko alam, e, kasi makuwento talaga akong tao. Tapos siya 'yung tahimik, so siguro dun, na-balance,” she opened up. 

Dating speculations between the two started in December last year, when Charlie posted a photo with Carlo as well as their non-showbiz friends at a holiday dinner. 

A month later, Carlo confirmed in an exclusive interview with entertainment reporter MJ Felipe that he is dating Charlie and that they also spent New Year's Eve together in La Union with his family.

Charlie and Carlo are set to star in Dwein Ruedas Baltazar's Third World Romance, which has been slated for an Aug. 16 release in theaters nationwide.
