K-pop singer Se7en and K-drama star Lee Da Hae announce marriage in May
Se7en and Lee Da Hae are getting married!
The K-pop singer and K-drama actress made the announcement on their respective Instagram pages on Monday, March 20.
“I have good news that I want to relay to you all first. I made the promise that on May 6th, I will be getting married to my girlfriend Lee Da Hae who has been with me for the past eight years and always showed me love,” Se7en (real name: Choi Dong Wook) wrote in an IG post.
“From now on, I will be more mature and take responsibility for my actions as the head of a family and a husband,” he added.
For her part, Lee Da Hae began her announcement by saying that the news might no longer come as a surprise because they’ve been together for almost a decade.
“In the upcoming May, we promised to go from longtime lovers to husband and wife. As of right now, the word ‘boyfriend’ sounds more familiar, but I will live as a good wife and a great support to my dear, who will now be my companion for the rest of my life,” she said.
Lee Da Hae is best known for her roles in beloved K-dramas like My Girl, Heaven’s Fate, The Slave Hunters, and Green Rose, among others while Se7en is famous for his hit songs like Come Back to Me and Better Together.
The longtime couple confirmed their relationship in September 2016.
