Get to know PH's Margarette Briton, Miss Interglobal 2026
The Philippines has taken home another crown from the international beauty pageant stage: Margarette "Marga" Siat Briton is Miss Interglobal 2026, the pageant's first-ever winner.
The inaugural pageant's coronation night was held on Sunday, Aug. 30, in Bali, Indonesia.
In addition to her crown, Briton also won other awards, including Star Connect, Social Impact, National Costume Excellence, and Dinner Dress.
Indonesia's Nabila Fenelia won first runner-up.

She's from Tabaco City, Albay
Briton's award-winning national costume was an eye-catching tribute to her home province, Bicol.
It celebrated the perfect slopes of Mayon Volcano with a skirt and frills that resembled lava flowing from the volcano. Her fiery headdress had the Mayon Volcano and Cagsawa Church as the backdrop, which was propped up behind Briton and billowed smoke as she walked.
Marga was first runner-up in Miss Grand Philippines 2025
At last year's Miss Grand Philippines pageant, Briton emerged as first runner-up to Emma Tiglao's top spot and was crowned Miss Interglobal Philippines 2026.
At her crowning ceremony, ALV Pageant Circle president Arnold Vegafria, also the national director of Miss Interglobal, shared how he promised his "queens" they would step on an international pageant stage even if they end up as runners-up in their local pageants.
"I'm very positive that the Filipina beauty from Bicol will bring home the first Miss Interglobal," Vegafria said.
Pampanga's Emma Tiglao won Miss Grand Philippines 2025.
Marga is an advocate for women and children
Before she left for Bali, Briton spent some time at the Women and Children's Safe Haven in Ligao, Albay.
"No matter how far I go, I'll always come home for these kids, for these women," she wrote in her Facebook post.
Her win made her believe in the power of dreams
While basking in her win, Briton celebrated her ability to pursue a goal regardless of obstacles.
The morning after she was crowned, Briton wrote on Facebook, "From asking myself, 'Can I make it?' to 'I made it.'"
"There are so many people I want to thank, but for now I'm still on cloud nine and letting everything sink in. Indeed, there is no such word as 'impossible' when you have the courage to pursue your dreams despite any odds," Briton continued.
"I am your Miss Interglobal 2026 International," she added.
