Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater have broken up—source
Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater are no longer together.
PEOPLE Magazine reported that the two have broken up after being together for three years.
An insider told the publication that their split was "amicable."
"They gave lots of time and careful consideration and decided to go their separate ways," the source is quoted as saying. "They are still friends and very supportive of one another."
Per the insider, Grande and Slater "have been quietly broken up for several months."
They added that Grande is "doing great" after the breakup as she continues with her Eternal Sunshine tour that started just last week.
Grande and Slater sparked dating rumors in 2023 after starring in Wicked, where the former played Glinda and the latter played Boq.
Slater filed for divorce from his wife Lilly Jay later that year. They tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed their son in August 2022.
Lilly broke her silence about their split later on, saying that the singer is “not a girl’s girl.” She told Page Six, “[Ariana’s] the story, really. Not a girl’s girl. My family is just collateral damage.”
Grande and Slater made their relationship Instagram official in November 2024 but kept mum about the cheating rumors.
Grande was previously married to real estate broker Dalton Gomez. They started dating in January 2020 and got engaged 11 months later. Their separation was reported two years after their May 2021 wedding.
