Jeron Teng and Jeanine Tsoi expecting first child: 'And then we were three'
Basketball player Jeron Teng and his wife Jeanine Tsoi are having their first child.
In a collaborative Instagram post on June 2, the couple shared a photo showing Jeanine's baby bump while Jeron was behind her and touching her tummy.
"And then we were three," the post's caption read, followed by a red heart emoji.
Social media users and public figures congratulated the couple in the comments section, including fellow basketball player Troy Rosario, volleyball player Kim Fajardo, sportscaster Bea Fabregas, actress Laura Lehmann-Pessumal, and reporters Andrei Felix and Pauline Verzosa.
The long-time partners got married in October 2023.
Jeron proposed to Jeanine in March 2022 after being in a relationship for almost seven years.
They met during their college days at De La Salle University.
At the time, Jeanine served as a courtside reporter for the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), while Jeron played for the Green Archers.
His Green Archers career saw two UAAP wins, four Mythical Five inclusions, and two MVP awards. After college, Jeron pursued a career at the Philippine Basketball Association, joining the San Miguel Beermen.
