A memorial will be held at Yogaum Center on the 4th floor of the Shinseung Building in Songpa-gu, a district in Seoul, South Korea.

The post also described Lee as someone who is "beautiful" and "innocent."

"Please pray for the soul of Lee-Joo, who brightened the world with her special talent, to rest in peace," the statement added.

The cause of her death has not yet been revealed.

On Feb. 18, she posted selfies with the caption, "Bye."

Lee gained prominence when she appeared in MBC Show Infinite Challenge, a South Korean comedic reality television show featuring six of Korea's top comedians who undergo a challenge every week.
