SUV crashes into Matteo Guidicelli's family restaurant; no serious injuries reported
Matteo Guidicelli reminded the public to stay alert and aware of one's surroundings after a vehicle plowed into his family restaurant in Alabang.
In a Facebook post, the actor wrote that the al fresco area at Da Gianni Cucina Italiana – Westgate Molito was empty when the SUV crashed on Sunday, Feb. 8.
"At around 4:00 p.m. today, an incident occurred where a vehicle rammed into our al fresco area. We are grateful to share that no guests were injured. All guests had already left by around 1:30 p.m., so the area was clear at the time," he said.
Two members of his staff were inside the restaurant when the accident happened and were brought to a nearby hospital immediately.
"Thankfully, there are no serious injuries, and they are currently being taken care of," he added.
Guidicelli said that the al fresco section is closed temporarily for safety and repairs, but they can still welcome guests at their interior dining area.
He also stressed the importance of staying alert and aware of one's surroundings. "'Watch your six!' Awareness and prevention are essential. You never know what situation you might find yourself in, so be careful, be ready, and always be aware."
"Above all, we thank the Lord for His protection. God was truly with us today!" he continued. "Thank you for your concern, prayers, and continued support. Please keep safe, everyone."
Da Gianni Cucina Italiana Alabang opened its doors to the public in 2018.
