Ria Atayde, Zanjoe Marudo expecting baby boy
Celebrity couple Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo are expecting a baby boy!
The revelation came after actress Liza Diño-Seguerra's Instagram post, in which she announced the gender of the couple's baby after learning the news during a surprise event for the couple.
"It’s a boy for our baby sister Sophia Atayde," the caption read.
She also mentioned that the anticipated due date would likely coincide with her husband, Ice Seguerra's birthday.
"Patay kabirth month ni Ice ang magiging baby mo. Good luck! Hahaha. Lab yu sis!"
Aside from the Diño-Seguerras, ABS-CBN executives Carlo Katigbak and Cory Vidanes, Arjo Atayde, Maine Mendoza, and Dominic Ochoa also attended the event.
Last June, Ria confirmed her pregnancy rumors on Father's Day through an IG post with a sweet message for her husband.
The post featured a beach photo where her baby bump was visible, putting an end to months of speculation about their growing family.
"To the dad you already are and the dad I know you’ll be. Love you @onlyzanjoemarudo," she wrote in the caption.
"So excited for this new chapter with you," she added.
Ria and Zanjoe got married in a civil wedding in March of this year.
The couple announced their engagement on Feb. 20 after confirming that they were dating in January 2023. Rumors that the two were dating sparked in August 2022 as they were spotted going on several trips together.
