Netflix's XO, Kitty has arrived, and if you've already binge-watched all 10 episodes and got blown away with the on-screen revelations, wait till you read this: two of its lead stars are actually siblings in real life.

Minyeong Choi, who plays Dae in the series, revealed to Teen Vogue that he and the rest of the cast only discovered that Sang Heon Lee (Min Ho) and Gia Kim (Yuri), are actually brother and sister through text.

"I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say this, but…did you know that Gia and Sang Heon are siblings in real life?" Minyeong said.

He shared that when Anna Cathcart (Kitty Song Covey) created a group chat that included him and Sang Heon, the latter asked if he could include his sister in the group.

Minyeong continued: "Sang Heon said, 'Oh, is it okay if my sister joins too?' And then I was like, 'What?' Of course, I want to meet my cast's family too, but not on the first day and not in our first meeting."

He said that Sang Heon continued to explain. "I was writing something, and Sang Heon was like, 'Oh, actually, she's playing Yuri.' And then I was like, 'What?!'"

Sang Heon seemingly confirmed the news by sharing a photo of him and Gia at the red carpet along with a link of the Teen Vogue story on his Instagram Stories.

He also revealed to SCMP that it was his sister who encouraged him to audition for the role.

“My sister sent me an Instagram post [about the audition call] so I thought, OK, I should go for this,” he said. According to the report, the siblings got the call three months after the audition. “It was fun, we always congratulate each other and look out for one another,” he said.

The latest Netflix romcom and spin-off series from the All the Boys film trilogy, XO, Kitty, follows Kitty Covey who travels all the way to South Korea to reconnect with her pen pal and long-term boyfriend Dae after receiving the same scholarship from the same school that her mom went to.
