As Erika Poturnak shared that she has undergone breast reduction surgery on TikTok, female netizens showed support for her big decision—which she said was the "happiest day" of her life.
Poturnak shared clips while she was on the way to the hospital and while she was preparing for the procedure on July 8. "Happiest day of my life," she captioned.

The 21-year-old had been pondering about undergoing surgery in 2021 when she first hinted about it on TikTok.

While there were a handful of comments on her video wondering why she had her breast size reduced as well as some sexist comments saying "this is the end boys" and how it was a "sad day," female netizens came to Poturnak's corner.

Poturnak's mother, Ina Raymundo, also expressed her support, writing "Woohoo! 🥳"
In addition, content creator Inka Magnaye congratulated the 21-year-old for undergoing the procedure.
"So happy for you!! I bet your back will feel AMAZING!!" she said.
Breast reduction surgery, also known as mammaplasty, is a procedure that removes extra fat, tissue, and skin from breasts. Those who have large breasts that are out of proportion to the rest of their body consider this as they experience neck and back pains.
