Weeks after Paramore announced that there’s a “level of uncertainty” about its future, the American rock band cleaned its social media pages and deleted its website, tugging at the heartstrings of fans.

Paramore’s Instagram and X no longer have any content, even as the profile pictures became generic gray icons.

Its Facebook page and YouTube channel, however, remained intact, though they no longer have profile pictures.

As for its website, www.paramore.net, the landing page reads, “404 Not Found. The requested URL was not found on this server.” In other instances, it reads, “Sorry, we couldn’t find that website. 404 Not Found.”

On Facebook, several users took to the comments section of the updated profile photo to express their feelings.

“What is happening?!?!?!?” one user said.

“Some of us have to grow up sometimes,” another user said, in reference to Paramore’s song Grow Up.

OPM band Lola Amour, meanwhile, wrote “No sir,” referencing That’s What You Get.

Last Dec. 15, Paramore on Instagram Story said that after spending the year for its This is Why tour “and making sure to take better care of themselves while they’re at it,” a chapter of the band’s career has come to a close.

“They’ve now fulfilled all label obligations and are effectively free agents,” it said. “As for the future of Paramore, all three members agreed that there’s a level of uncertainty.”

Paramore—consisting of Hayley Williams (vocals), Taylor York (guitarist), and Zac Farro (drums)—was formed in 2004 and released its debut album All We Know is Falling in 2005.

It had its break with its 2007 sophomore album, Riot!.

Paramore’s latest album is This is Why, which was released in January this year.

Its hits include Misery BusinesscrushcrushcrushThat’s What You GetStill Into YouHard Times, and This is Why.
