Fil-Am internet star Bretman Rock and other notable media personalities have joined Michelle Obama’s call to vote for the upcoming presidential elections in the United States.

The former First Lady took to her Instagram account on Monday, July 29 to encourage US citizens to exercise their right to vote in the elections in November.

“We are just 100 days away from Election Day, and it’s time to get registered and ready to vote,” she began in her caption.

“When we all vote, we have the power to determine the direction of our country. Every issue we care about is on the ballot — from reproductive rights to what our kids are learning in school to how our communities are policed,” she added.

In the short skit, Michelle called Bretman, Raised Right singer Reyna Roberts, NBA stars Stephen Curry and Chris Paul, actress Kerry Washington, TV producer, and screenwriter Shonda Rhimes, and more to ask if they’re voting this year.

Michelle then turned to the viewers and said, “Now it’s your time to answer the call.”

“We are just 100 days away from the general election; From our local elected officials to ballot measures on reproductive rights, the environment, and our economy. Our future is on the ballot,” she added.

The media personalities also echoed the sentiments by encouraging people to join them to register and vote. This comes a few days after Michelle and her husband, former US president Barack Obama endorsed Kamala Harris for president.

Meanwhile, Bretman, who rose to fame through his humorous vlogs and makeup tutorials, was born in the Philippines but grew up in Hawaii, US.

In March this year, he was honored by the Hawaii House of Representatives and the legislatures of the Filipino caucus for bringing "positive attention" to Hawaii and Filipino-Americans.
