This event designer had no idea she was decorating for Bea Alonzo's wedding
The event styling team behind Bea Alonzo and Vincent Co’s wedding had no idea they were decorating for the actress.
In a post, H.Lopez Event Styling shared that on the morning of July 13, the team received an inquiry asking if they were free to style an intimate gathering happening that day.
"The peg was sent and without hesitation, we said YES!" the team shared.
The contact person was the same individual who had reached out to them months earlier for actress Alonzo’s bridal shower. Still, the stylists didn't suspect a thing, assuming Alonzo might simply be one of the guests attending a friend's event.
"With everything that has been circulating on social media, we honestly never imagined we were about to style their wedding... We simply focused on bringing the peg to life and making sure every detail was beautifully executed," they wrote.
It wasn't until the setup was complete that the truth revealed itself when the team caught sight of Alonzo and Co.
"That's when we realized... We had just styled their wedding," they recalled.
The unexpected moment became an unforgettable core memory for the entire crew.
"We honestly still can’t get over it. Never in a million years did we think we’d go from styling Bea’s bridal shower to unexpectedly styling their wedding too," they expressed. "Our hearts are so full, and we’re just incredibly grateful to have been part of such a beautiful and intimate celebration."
Wadoughs similarly shared their surprise after discovering that a cake order they fulfilled was actually for Alonzo and Co's secret wedding.
"It was placed as a regular cake order, just like the other orders we received that day, and no details about the event were shared with us," they said.
Alonzo and Co tied the knot in a simple civil ceremony last July 13 in Makati. The actress delighted fans by sharing a glimpse of their special day on social media.
"Home," she simply captioned the carousel post, where she is seen wearing a tailored white blazer paired with a lace-trimmed mini skirt.
