This isn't the first time that he made a visit to the Philippines to meet his fans. He previously came to Manila in November 2023 to headline the Manila Pop Culture Convention following his role in Netflix's One Piece.
During the event, the actor expressed delight at the love he has received from Pinoys so far.
"I'm honored to be loved by the Filipino fans. I saw it, I felt the love," he said. "I am also happy that fans loved the live-action."
He also expressed his desire to visit Palawan and Boracay to explore not just the beauty of the Philippines, but also its delicious food.
