“The past was honestly the best, but my best is what comes next.”

BTS—also known as Bangtan Sonyeodan—made a heartwarming return to the music scene with their first anthology album, Proof, with Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment) as the title track. The album and music video were released on Friday, June 10,

Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment) is a faithful ode to the septet’s nine-year career in the music industry. The music video showed RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, dressed in simple outfits, as they remained hopeful of their future as artists.

We just loved music / We’re just running forward / Promise that we’ll keep on coming back for more,” Jungkook sang in the song’s verse.

BTS’ dedicated legion of fans—or ARMY—would recognize the references of BTS’ in Yet To Come’s lyrics where they looked back on their trainee years, uncertain debut, and historic success.

Based on the lyrics, the song is BTS’ hopeful message to fans as they move forward to their new chapter. This can also be seen in the group’s ninth-anniversary images that were posted on their official Twitter account hours before its release.

The three-CD Proof consists of 48 songs, packed with fan-favorite tracks, unreleased demos, and hidden gems produced by BTS themselves. However, the songs in Disc 3 are not available for streaming.

Apart from Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment), the anthology album also includes four new songs, namely Run BTS, For Youth, Ambiguous Relationship, and Quotation Marks
