Hot on the heels of the release of his music video for Ikaw Pa Rin, Jason Hernandez revealed going to great lengths to rekindle his relationship with his estranged wife, Moira Dela Torre.

Jason opened up about the events that transpired between him and Moira post-breakup in response to the recent tweets of Moira's younger sister J'mee about his new music video.

The nearly five-minute clip, which Jason released on May 24, shows the musician traveling around the United States with another woman. As the song nears its end, snippets from his 2019 wedding with Moira are flashed on the screen.

In a series of tweets that were first spotted by PEP.ph, J'mee claimed that Jason was lying about the lyrics of his song which reflects his desire to rekindle his relationship with her sister.

She began, "Nakakatawa na ung buong song, especially yung part na 'naghihintay parin hanggang ngayon sa ikaw at ako' kasi parang sa buong year, never ka naman nag-effort sa ate ko??? never ka din nag-effort sa family namin before and after kayo naghiwalay. like???"

J'mee also called out Jason for allegedly "manipulating people into thinking" that he still loves and misses Moira, in addition to using clips "from the wedding, concert, and the Tagpuan music video" without her sister's consent.

"Forda clout chasing amp ure getting too desperate and it's kinda funny lol," she concluded her tweets.

Jason, for his part, rebutted J'mee's claims in a now-deleted Facebook post also discovered by the entertainment portal.

"Sorry J'mee I didn't want to do this. I tried calling you but you blocked me everywhere," the musician said about taking the issue to Facebook.

"I was caught off guard when you posted your tweets because one, I showed you this song last year July already so I don't get why you're surprised with the lyrics," he continued, referring to the screenshot of their conversation that was included in his post.

Jason then went on to recall how he continuously reached out to Moira's family after their breakup last year.

He explained, "I visited May, August, October, and December to give gifts for Christmas. I promised you I'd still be your kuya no matter what. But when your mom expressed that Moi didn't want me hanging out with you guys, I respected that. That's why I stopped visiting."

The Ikaw Pa Rin singer then enumerated the ways he pleaded for Moira to come back into his life.

"You didn't see kung paano ako lumuhod at umiyak so she would take me back, you didn't see kung paano siya nagbasag ng baso to shut me up, you didn't see kng paano siya galit na galit noong nagpadala ako ng food sa kanya 'cause I thought she was sick and how she told me to never go near her again. You don't know how I would wait outside the condo sa driveway para ma-timingan lang siya kausapin," Jason said.

"I've been good to you and your family," he continued. "And I'm sorry if you were fed false/exaggerated/filtered details, but I gave my all to try to get her back."

Jason and Moira exchanged wedding vows on Jan. 8, 2019, two years since they became a couple in February 2017. The two met as Music Production students at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde back in 2012.

On May 2022, the musicians decided to part ways after Jason admitted to cheating on Moira.
