Celebrity couple Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse have made their first public appearance after four years of dating.

Pattinson, 36, and Waterhouse, 30, attended the fashion show of luxury brand Dior in Giza in Egypt last Dec. 3. They posed for multiple shots as they walked arm-in-arm and exchanged loving glances with each other, PEOPLE reported.

The Twilight actor donned a cream suit and brown turtleneck, while the Love, Rosie actress wore a mauve gown with sheer, frilled sleeves. Pattinson also opted for his iconic messy hairdo, while Waterhouse styled hers with curtain bangs.

Gala Magazine shared a TikTok video of them being sweet, with Pattinson holding her hands as he played with her fingers.

They sparked dating rumors in 2018, when local media spotted them indulging in public display of affection. The two, however, kept their relationship low-key in the coming years.

In an April 2019 interview with The Sunday Times, Pattinson was asked to talk about Waterhouse, only to respond with, "Do I have to?"

“If you let people in, it devalues what love is," he is quoted as saying. "If a stranger on the street asked you about your relationship, you'd think it extremely rude."

“I can't understand how someone can walk down the street holding hands, and it's the same as when I do it and a hundred people are taking your photo," he added. "The line between when you're performing and when you're not will eventually get washed away and you'll go completely mad.”

But they started to become more open about their relationship in the coming months.

In September 2019, fashion photographer Sofia Malamute shared a photo of Waterhouse, who appears to be sitting on Pattinson's lap, wrapping her arms around his shoulders.

In GQ's June 2020 issue, Pattinson talked about living with his "girlfriend" during the COVID-19 lockdown. The magazine didn't name Waterhouse.

Pattinson opened up a bit more about their romance in a February 2022 interview for the magazine's March issue. He shared Waterhouse's opinion about going to zoos and how she kept talking with their repairman, a self-proclaimed DC Comics fan, during service. Pattinson recently portrayed the superhero Batman.

In a Jimmy Kimmel Live episode on Feb. 16 ahead of The Batman premiere on March 4, Pattinson talked about how he watched the movie with Waterhouse.

"It was really her reaction that changed the entire thing because I’m pretty sure she’s not normally into watching superhero movies,” he said. “Just seeing that it was capturing her attention the entire time and then she just held my hand and just touched it right there and I could feel a little tear."
