LOOK: Former PBB housemate Joj Agpangan now married to non-showbiz partner
Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Joj Agpangan announced her marriage to her non-showbiz partner, Danny.
"One of the best Christmas gifts I could ever ask for," she wrote in her Instagram post on Friday, Dec. 26.
"So happy to finally share this special news with everyone! From Ms. to Mrs. and officially entering my soft life era. I feel so blessed to spend the rest of my life with my soulmate. My heart is so full! ✨ It’s official… I AM A WIFE!" she added. In the post, she shared their photos during the ceremony, joined with their nearest and dearest in the US.
In her YouTube vlog released on Christmas Day, the couple revealed that they secretly tied the knot on Sept. 20 and told their family later.
“Actually, we got married last September 20. We’re actually a married couple,” she shared. “September 20 was actually my dad’s birthday. I greeted him, but we’re on the way to the chapel,” she added.
She then revealed that she had applied for a spouse visa. “A lot of you are asking what my visa is, so my visa, actually, I went from tourist visa to a spouse visa because my man is very quick on processing things. He really wants this relationship to work so we got married secretly and told our parents later,” she explained.
She later opened up a bit about her married life so far, saying marrying Danny has been “one of the best decisions” she’s made.
“I knew it from the start that he’s the one for me. I really admire my husband because he planned for everything. Of course, we also prayed for this one, and it’s just the right timing for the both of us,” she ended.
Joj announced their engagement in October.
"Forever starts now with you, Danny. What a journey it has been — everything happened in God’s perfect timing. I feel so blessed to have a man who loves so deeply and fully. My soulmate, I love you so much!" she wrote at the time.
"I had no clue at all that he was going to propose. I was wearing sneakers and he's so madaya [because] he was wearing a hoodie and I didn't he [had] like an inner polo inside," she shared, adding that her boyfriend told her that they were just going to an event, where they walked to the park to watch the sunset.
Joj and her twin, Jai, rose to fame when they joined Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition 4 in 2012.
