‘All of Us Are Dead’ stars Cho Yihyun and Park Solomon reveal their kissing scene took 17 takes
It took a while for Cho Yihyun to get her kilig kissing scene right—and it looks like her leading man Park Solomon had fun filming it.
To recall, the seventh episode of All of Us Are Dead featured Park Namra (Cho Yihyun) kissing Lee Soohyuk (Park Solomon) after admitting that she liked him back.
In a video commentary by Netflix Korea, Yihyun and Solomon with their costars, director Lee Jaekyoo, and writer Chun Sungil shared their thoughts on All of Us Are Dead and their favorite behind-the-scenes moments.
The actress admitted that she felt “really sorry” to her leading man for pulling off their kissing scene after 17 takes. “I’m really sorry to Lomon. I couldn’t find where his lips were because I was closing my eyes.”
Yihyun went on to reveal that Solomon enjoyed filming their romantic moment, making their costars, director, and writer burst into laughter. “I said, ‘Lomon, I’m really sorry but can we try one more time?’ Then he was like, ‘Sure.’”
Solomon, who admitted the kiss was his favorite scene, smiled while eagerly talking about his moment with Yihyun.
“Before we shot that scene, I kept worrying, ‘How do we pull off the kiss? I’m so nervous. What do I do?’ But after [Yihyun] kissed me, I realized, ‘Oh, so this is why actors do romance dramas,’” Solomon said.
The 12-episode All of Us Are Dead starring Yoon Chanyoung, Park Jihoo, Cho Yihyun, and Park Solomon revolves around a fictional town hit with a zombie outbreak following a science experiment gone wrong.
Since its release, the K-drama made history after being the second non-English series to be included on Netflix US’ top 10 shows.
