LOOK: Maureen Wroblewitz to appear on 'FBI: Most Wanted' episode
Maureen Wroblewitz is finally putting on the Miss Philippines sash, but for other reasons: a television show.
The actress and former Miss Universe Philippines 2021 runner-up shared on social media that she will be appearing on one of the episodes of CBS' FBI: Most Wanted, starring Dylan McDermott.
"Representing the Philippines wherever I go • I was finally able to wear the Philippines sash across my heart but it’s not for what you think," she wrote on Instagram.
She stars as Miss Philippines Rosa Martinez in the sixth episode, titled Pageantry, which airs on Dec. 4, 8 a.m. (Philippine time).
Wroblewitz thanked Jonathan Strauss Casting and her manager Katie Mason Stern-Luber Roklin for the opportunity.
Wroblewitz began her journey to stardom as a contestant on Asia's Next Top Model, where she emerged victorious in the fifth cycle. In 2021, she participated in Miss Universe Philippines, securing a second-place finish behind Beatrice Luigi Gomez.
More recently, Wroblewitz has ventured into the world of acting, making her debut in the film Take Me to Banaue in 2023. In a recent interview, she has expressed her desire to establish a base in Los Angeles and is actively pursuing acting classes to hone her craft.
