Eminem revealed that he is going to be a grandpa in the sweetest way possible!
The rapper and songwriter shared the good news that his daughter, Hailie Jade, is pregnant with her first child through a heartwarming music video for his song Temporary. (Feel old yet?)
The video starts with a compilation of old pictures of Hailie during her childhood, some of which showed her bonding with Eminem, all while a voiceover from the music artist says, "A lot of people ask me, 'Am I afraid of death?' The truth is I think what scares me the most is not being able to say all the things I wanna say to you when I'm no longer here."
"So this song is for Hailie, for when that day comes," he added.
The video continues with a heartwarming collection of home videos, capturing Eminem's precious moments with his daughter as she grows up.
The montage culminates in a poignant clip of Hailie surprising Eminem with a t-shirt that reads 'GRANDPA' and features a sonogram image, leaving him overjoyed and touched.
Hailie is Eminem's daughter from his ex-wife Kimberly Anne Scott, whom he married twice before divorcing in 2006. She got engaged to Evan in February last year after dating for six years.
"Casual weekend recap... I love you, Evan McClintock," she wrote on her Instagram post that showed a photo of Evan down on one knee and a photo of her diamond ring.
Eminem's song Temporary serves as an ode to Hailie and is part of his twelfth studio album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). It features American singer Skylar Grey.
