Celeste Cortesi signs with GMA’s Sparkle

Celeste Cortesi is officially a Kapuso!

Talent agency Sparkle GMA Artist Center on Thursday announced on their Instagram account that the former Miss Universe Philippines representative is now part of their family.

Celeste was joined by GMA's senior vice president Annette Gozon-Valdes, Sparkle's vice president Joy Marcelo, and senior talent manager Tracy Garcia during the contract signing. 

On her Instagram account, Celeste expressed her excitement over the new milestone.

“Happy and grateful to finally call GMA my home," she said. "I’m excited for what’s to come. Proud to be Kapuso.”

Fellow Kapuso stars and beauty queens congratulated her in the comments section.

"Congratulations babe!" said Max Collins.

"My queeeen is HOME," wrote Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee.

Celeste's boyfriend, Matthew Custodio, also left a comment, saying: "HERE WE GO."

In a previous interview, Celeste Cortesi said she wants to "grow more and step out of her comfort zone." She also said that she does not currently have any plans to compete in another pageant, but she is open to the possibility in the future.

Celeste represented the Philippines in the Miss Universe competition in the USA, where she failed to make it to the semifinals.
