Anne Curtis open to sharing the screen with sister Jasmine, working on GMA projects
If there's one person that Anne Curtis wants to work with now that It's Showtime has found a new home in GMA Network's GTV, it's her very own sister Jasmine!
In an interview with entertainment reporter Nelson Canlas on 24 Oras, the actress shared that she is often asked about the Kapuso artists that she wants to share the screen with, and she only has one answer every time: "Si Jasmine Curtis-Smith."
"So possible na siya sigurong mag-guest host or mag-host ng It's Showtime?" asked Nelson.
"Why not? Masaya 'yun kasi parehas kaming baliw," Anne joked.
Prior to this, the television personality already expressed her desire in getting to work with her sister, with whom she has never shared a project due to their being with rival networks. While Jasmine appeared in an episode of It's Showtime in mid-2010, she later signed an exclusive contract with TV5 in that same year before moving to GMA Network in 2018.
Speaking with Boy Abunda on his talk show, Anne was asked if taking part in a project with her younger sister has ever crossed her mind.
"Oo naman. It's all about finding the right project and material for the both of us, but definitely," Anne said.
She also voiced out her enthusiasm for accepting TV shows and movies with GMA Network, "Even before Showtime was on GTV, I was able to do a film with GMA Films, and VIVA. Because I am under VIVA naman so I am able to collaborate still with GMA," she said.
Anne began her showbiz career with GMA Network, with her first television appearance being in the drama series Ikaw Na Sana. She was also part of the teen-oriented show, T.G.I.S.
She was welcomed back into the network when It's Showtime, ABS-CBN's long-running noontime show, started airing on GTV on July 1.
