Emma Roberts is getting married to her boyfriend of two years!

The American Horror Story actress announced her engagement to actor Cody John in an Instagram post on Wednesday, July 17. "Putting this here before my mom tells everyone," she captioned their couple photo, where she can be seen showing off her ring.

PEOPLE Magazine reported that her playful caption could be about the time her mother Kelly Cunningham posted a photo of Rhodes, Roberts' son with her ex-partner Garrett Hedlund, on social media without letting her know first. "When your mom posts your son's face without asking but you love them both so whatever," she wrote in an Instagram story in February as she reposted the snap.

Roberts and John's relationship was made public in 2022 when John posted a snap of them sharing a kiss on Instagram. Roberts also posted a picture of them holding hands on New Year's Eve with the caption, "#2022 I loved you."

John appeared in TV offerings like Wu-Tang: An American Saga, which streamed on Hulu, and In The Dark, which aired on The CW, among others.

According to a report by E! News, an insider said they met through common friends.
