Lindsay Lohan announces pregnancy: 'Blessed and excited'
Lindsay Lohan is going to be a mom!
The Parent Trap and Mean Girls actress announced that she's expecting her first child with her husband, financier Bader Shammas on Tuesday, March 14.
Sharing a photo of a baby suit with the words "coming soon" on Instagram, the Hollywood star wrote in the caption: “We are blessed and excited!”
She also told entertainment outlet TMZ: "We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!"
Her good friends in the entertainment industry expressed their warm congratulations to the mom-to-be, including actress Bella Thorne and her fellow Mean Girls star Lacey Chabert. "Congratulations love! So happy for you," socialite Paris Hilton also commented.
This will be Lindsay's first child with the love of her life, with whom she tied the knot in July 2022. In one of her posts after her wedding, she said she considers herself “the luckiest woman in the world." Referring to Shammas, the actress wrote: "You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. [E]very woman should feel like this every day."
Lindsay is known for her iconic roles in classic films like The Parent Trap, Freaky Friday, Just My Luck, and Mean Girls, among others. She also starred in American romantic-comedy film Falling for Christmas, which was released in December 2022.
