Justin Long reveals he has tied the knot with Kate Bosworth
The wedding bells have rung for celebrity couple Justin Long and Kate Bosworth as the former revealed that they have now exchanged vows secretly, just a month after they got engaged.
In a recent episode of his podcast Life is Short where he had Kyra Sedgwick as his guest, Justin recalled the time that he spent in Bulgaria, where the couple filmed the 2022 horror film Barbarian. During which he referred to Kate as his "now-wife."
"I was there while I was like really falling in love with my now-wife. She came to visit and I had never been comfortable with set visits. I like to separating the relationship, but, yeah, I loved having her there and we just had the most magical time," Justin said.
The 44-year-old actor added that having the love of his life there had been a big help for him as she assisted him in his scenes.
Rumors of romance first brewed between the pair back in January 2022 after they starred in the thriller House of Darkness together and had a sweet exchange on Instagram.
"There are some movie experiences when you learn a lot about another person. Well, we just wrapped one of those. Holy moly Justin, you are a truly spectacular, fun, funny, kind, rare, thoughtful, totally, rad human being," Kate wrote.
Justin then typed a response, "I'm going to say even nicer things about you publicly because people should know what a rare gem you are—all the things you said about me but a little bit (or a lot) more. It was a true joy to be in your glow."
The rumors eventually became a reality when Justin announced in an Instagram post in April that he had successfully proposed to Kate.
"She said YES… to being a guest on the Life is Short podcast! And to other slightly more life-changing questions," the actor opened his post as he shared a cute selfie of themselves with beaming smiles as Kate flexed her engagement ring.
"I feel eternally grateful that I found a partner who makes each day so full, whose mere presence is a reminder of the beauty and brevity of life, and who makes me laugh from the minute we wake up 'til the one I begrudgingly fall asleep. I cherish the days we’ve had and the ones to come," he wrote, adding an emoji of a yellow heart and a ring at the end.
In another episode of his podcast, Justin described the proposal as a "moment where it just felt so organic" and that it felt connected to "something very, very deeply, profoundly personal" that they were going through.
The two first met on the set of House of Darkness in 2021.
