Bettinna Carlos and Mikki Eduardo are expecting a baby: 'His timing is always perfect'
Their prayers have been answered, Bettinna Carlos and Mikki Eduardo are expecting a child!
On her YouTube channel, the actress shared their "sobrang unexpected" journey of learning she is pregnant.
During a lunch with friends back in April, Bettinna realized that she had not yet gotten her period. Upon taking a pregnancy test, she was shocked to see two lines appear before her.
Since they were not actively trying to have a child, she took another pregnancy test that revealed two more lines, despite the second one being blurry.
Eventually, a fourth test revealed the news: they were indeed pregnant.
According to doctors, they were only supposed to start trying for a baby by July, because Bettinna had undergone pelvic laparotomy surgery after she had an ectopic pregnancy and lost their baby, Wammy.
But she remembered her faith through the ordeal. "Si God talaga yung ultimately may hawak ng time. He's all-powerful to dictate life when you allow it to happen."
Bettinna also shared that there's an exact three month-gap, January 19 and April 19, between learning she was pregnant with Wammy and this new pregnancy.
"Talagang his timing is always perfect."
Back in February, the couple revealed that they had suffered a miscarriage.
"We were pregnant and then no more," Bettinna had captioned her photo at the time. Still, they remained optimistic about meeting Wammy once again.
“Thank you for the fresh hope and new joy You gave us even for a very short while. Thank you for the assurance that one day, in heaven, we will see and be with our child," she added.
Meanwhile, Mikki confirmed the news with ultrasound photos of their baby.
"Ading!," Mikki wrote, which is the Ilocano term for a younger sibling.
Bettinna and Mikki have been married since December of 2020. They met on June of the same year and tied the knot twice in Tagaytay Highlands. Bettinna has a child named Amanda Lucia Carlos (nicknamed Gummy) from a previous relationship.
