Love is in the air!

Celebrity couples and love teams brought kilig as they walked the ivory carpet at this year's Star Magical Prom

Held Thursday night, March 14 at Bellevue Hotel Manila in Muntinlupa City, the event saw young stars in their best fairytale-themed ensembles, matching the enchanting venue designed by event stylist Dave Sandoval.

From the biggest love teams like DonBelle and KDLex to the crowd favorite SnoRene, here are the pairs that caught our eye at the recently concluded affair.

KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad

Topping the list is this year’s prom king KD Estrada and prom queen Alexa Ilacad, who are collectively known as KDLex. The two earned the most votes via public voting, succeeding last year’s titleholders Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, a.k.a. DonBelle. The duo opted for a sea-inspired look with KD donning an ocean blue suit by Francis Libiran and Alexa channeling a sea goddess in a custom mermaid gown by Ehrran Montoya.

It looks like the much-loved DonBelle—the love team of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano—took inspiration from the classic fantasy film Beauty and the Beast for the magical event. Donny wore a navy blue suit, while Belle opted for a stunning custom yellow gown by Francis Libiran. She completed the look with a bejeweled rose bag.

Seth Fedelin and Francine Diaz

FranSeth—consisting of Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin—looked like royalty in their complementing ensembles. Seth donned an all-white suit with a deep V-neck, while Francine looked like a princess in a blue ball gown by designer Anthony Ramirez. Diamond jewelry took Francine's look to the next level.

Anthony Jennings and Maris Racal

What a night for SnoRene fans! Anthony Jennings and Maris Racal, who became loved for their SnoRene (Snoop and Irene) tandem in Can’t Buy Me Love, attended their first Star Magical Prom together. Showing their undeniable chemistry on the ivory carpet, Anthony looked dapper in a dark blue blazer amped up with crystals while Maris looked like a modern Cinderella in her powder blue dress and white gloves, which she matched with a bedazzled purse.

Brent Manalo and Vivoree Esclito

Attending the Star Magical Prom together for the second time, Brent Manalo and Vivoree Esclito opted for different but complementing ensembles for the star-studded affair. Vivoree wore an off-shoulder Jhajha Gaburnal creation bedazzled from the neckline down to the bodice, while Brent kept his look sharp in a classic black and white ensemble, which he amped up with a black trench coat.

Jeremiah Lisbo and Kaori Oinuma

Jeremiah Lisbo and Kaori Oinuma, who worked together in the iWant series Fractured, also graced the Star Magical Prom this year. Jeremiah wore a black and white suit, while Kaori stood out in a fiery red, bedazzled gown custom-made by Vee Tan.

Harvey Bautista and Criza Taa

Gracing the event together for the first time, Harvey Bautista and Criza Taa were also among the love teams who stood out at the event. Criza looked ethereal in her Mak Tumang ball gown with beads and feather adornments. Harvey, who was hailed the Noble Prince of the night, definitely looked the part in a velvet green suit with gold accents.

Zaijan Jaranilla and Xyriel Manabat

Known for their roles as on-screen partners in the now-defunct teleserye Senior High, Zaijan Jaranilla and Xyriel Manabat turned heads as they graced the ivory carpet together. Zaijan opted for a beige and brown ensemble, while Xyriel looked like a pixie princess in her colorful, bejeweled gown by Russel May Cordero.
