Jungkook asks ARMYs to refrain from visiting home, military base
BTS' Jungkook shared an update from the military.
The K-pop idol, who is currently doing military service, surprised fans on Dec. 18 with a livestream.
Jungkook showed off his new living quarters, which has a karaoke machine and bar.
During the broadcast, Jungkook addressed concerns about privacy, saying he is aware of videos that reveal information about his new place.
Jungkook directly addressed fans who may be stalking him, urging them to refrain from looking for his house.
He also asked ARMYs not to send gifts to his new home or military base.
"I know that news that I moved has already been reported on YouTube, and since I’ve moved, I really hope that no one comes and finds my house. I beg you to please not come. And although I know you mean well, I cannot receive the gifts you sent to my home address, and I have to send them back," he said.
Jungkook said that if fans would like to send letters, they may have them delivered to his agency, HYBE.
"If you’d like, please do send me letters," he noted, adding that he cannot receive the presents being sent to the military base.
"When I get a call and see the packages, there is a lot of food, and I cannot accept those either. Please try to refrain from sending packages to the military. Although I know you mean well, I beg you not to send them," he reminded.
Jungkook has previously addressed instances of fan stalking. There were incidents where fans followed him to the gym, sent gifts to his residence, and even visited his home.
Jungkook, together with co-member Jimin, entered the 5th Infantry Division recruit training center in Yeoncheon county on Dec. 11 as part of their mandatory military service.
