Kris Aquino to stay out of the country for over a year for medical procedures

Kris Aquino has revealed that she’ll be out of the country for over a year for her medical procedures.

The Queen of All Media shared the news in the comment section of her good friend, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez on Instagram, where the latter shared some snaps of the birthday gifts she received. Regine turned another year older on Friday, April 22.

After revealing that she prepared a “thank you” present for Regine and her husband Ogie Alcasid, Kris apologized for her late greeting for the singer and talked about her plans for her health. “Mare sorry if my greeting is late- we leave in a few days and we’ll be gone for more than a year for my medical treatments. Medyo overwhelming,” she wrote. 

The TV personality also expressed her gratitude for Regine and Ogie for their love and care during this time. “Thank you dumalaw si Jas & Darla and they told me sobrang consistent kayo ni Pare asking kung kamusta ako,” she added. 

Kris has been battling an autoimmune disease called “Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria” since 2018. She has also been diagnosed with erosive gastritis and gastric ulcer in March.
