Paris Hilton shares pictures of newborn son for the first time
The whole world has finally gotten a closer look at Paris Hilton's bundle of joy as she shared pictures of him for the first time.
Hilton gifted her Instagram followers with a photo of herself in a white satin robe while holding her newborn son Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum. She could be seen placing a delicate and loving kiss on his face.
Another picture shows the two of them with her businessman husband Carter Reum, where he could be seen kissing Hilton's forehead as she holds her baby boy in her tender arms.
The 42-year-old first time mom welcomed Phoenix in late January via surrogate, announcing the news by posting a photo of herself holding her baby boy’s hand with the caption, "You are already loved beyond words."
Gracing the cover of Glamour UK, Hilton confessed that she opted to opt for in-vitro fertilization because she has always been "scared" of childbirth.
"When I was in [my reality television series] The Simple Life, I had to be in a room when a woman was giving birth and that traumatised me as well. But I want a family so bad, it’s just the physical part of doing it. I’m just so scared… childbirth and death are the two things that scare me more than anything in the world," she said.
On her iHeartRadio podcast This Is Paris, Hilton shared that they chose the name "Phoenix" because it references "bird that flames out and then rises from the ashes to fly again."
"I want my son to grow up knowing that disaster and triumph go around and come around throughout our lives. And that this should give us great hope for the future," she said.
