Iwa Moto engaged to Pampi Lacson: 'I can’t wait to be your wife, mahal'
A new chapter begins for Iwa Moto, who is now engaged to her longtime partner, Pampi Lacson.
The actress and model delighted her fans with the news on her Instagram account, posting a reel of their recent Japan trip. In the clip, the two can be seen walking towards the camera before raising their hands to reveal Iwa’s engagement ring.
Another picture showed Iwa giving Pampi, who is the son of Sen. Panfilo Lacson, a sweet kiss on the cheek.
"Mahal, [y]ou are my always and forever. Thank you for making me happy. I can’t wait to be your wife, mahal," she captioned the post.
"We have been together for almost 14 years and God knows we have been through a lot but in His grace ito tayo, nagmamahalan. I can’t wait to marry my best friend," she added.
In the comments section, many fans and fellow celebrities flooded the post with congratulatory messages, including Pampi's former wife, Jodi Sta. Maria.
"Life has a beautiful way of unfolding. Congratulations on your engagement Madam and Pampi!" Jodi wrote.
"Rejoicing with you both! This milestone is truly significant for the whole family!" she added.
Iwa then replied, "Grabe ka mag-predict amor. Love you. As promised ikaw ang isa sa mga naunang nakaalam hahaha. See you pag uwi namin."
Jodi and Pampi tied the knot in 2005 but eventually went their separate ways in 2011. Their marriage was finally annulled in 2024. They were blessed with a son who they named Thirdy.
In the years since, Iwa has been in a relationship with Pampi for more than a decade. Together, they have two children, Hiromi and Caleb.
