Elha Nympha steps down from 'Inday The Musical' a day before its opening
Elha Nympha, who was set to play the titular role in Inday The Musical, has withdrawn from the production a day before its scheduled opening.
Theater producer Studio A announced the show's latest development via a Facebook post on Thursday, Oct. 15.
"Studio A productions respects the decision of Ms. Elha Nympha to step away from Inday: The Musical, a day before its scheduled opening," Studio A said in a statement.
"Our creative team is now making the necessary adjustments to bring Inday to life, and we are fully committed to opening the show on the scheduled dates," it said.
"The curtain waits for no one. Inday will take the stage," Studio A continued. "The show will go on, and we're excited to see you in the theater."
No reason was disclosed for Elha’s exit from the show. The musical was supposed to mark her theater debut.
