Janine Gutierrez puts pregnancy rumors to rest

Janine Gutierrez has addressed persistent online rumors alleging she is pregnant.

In January, a blind item posted on Reddit wondered whether a certain Filipino actress was pregnant. Social media users, tabloids, and Philippine entertainment YouTube channels threw Gutierrez's name in the mix, which sparked speculation. 

Abante Radyo, in a clip posted on Jan. 19, surmised, as well, further adding to the grapevine. The outlet cited an insider saying the rumor wasn't true, but if it were, it wouldn't be surprising. 

Gutierrez has been in an exclusive relationship with fellow actor Jericho Rosales since mid-2024.

However, the actress shot down all the talk in a terse reply on Instagram.

"Sabi sa balita, buntis daw si Ate Janine? Pero di naman siya mukhang buntis dito," wrote an Instagram follower on March 9.

"Fake News!" replied Gutierrez. 

Fans of the actress-model will next see Gutierrez headlining the Netflix series Balaraw, a horror-thriller series where she stars opposite Charlie Dizon. The leads play a sapphic couple caught up in a supernatural trail. 

Balaraw streams worldwide starting on Sept. 24.
