Smokey Manaloto welcomes second child with partner at 55
Smokey Manaloto, 55, and his partner, Cassie Brazal, have a beautiful addition to their family.
On Thursday, Aug. 27, the actor and comedian announced the arrival of their second child, a baby girl. “May mga umagang gigising ka at mapapangiti ka na lang kasi, ‘Ah, ito na pala ang bago naming buhay,’” he wrote in the caption. “Mas maaga ang gising, mas maraming yakap, at mas puno ng pagmamahal ang bahay."
He described their newborn as a blessing that has brought even more happiness to their family. “Bagong araw, bagong chapter, at isang munting blessing na mas pinasaya ang mundo namin."
Brazal also shared photos of their baby on her Instagram page, showing her and Manaloto holding their little one at the hospital.
“We prayed for you, waited for you, and dreamed of the day we could finally hold you in our arms,” Brazal captioned her post.
She also recalled the moment she heard their baby cry for the first time. “The moment I finally heard your first cry, our tears wouldn’t stop,” she said, adding that she felt “overwhelmed with so much love, relief, and gratitude.”
Brazal also opened up about the challenges she faced throughout her pregnancy, which she described as a journey of “fears, tears, and countless prayers.”
“After everything we went through during this pregnancy... there you were. You were finally here; everything was worth it, anak!” she wrote.
Manaloto announced in March that they were expecting their second child—their "second little miracle."
The couple welcomed their first child, Kiko, in 2022, when Manaloto was 51. It was also his first time becoming a father.
The actor is known for his work in television and film, including the long-running sitcom Home Along da Riles. He currently appears in the series Born to Shine.
