Ariana Grande to pay ex-husband Dalton Gomez P70 million after finalizing divorce
After a year since they broke up, Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez are officially divorced.
According to a report by the Associated Press (AP), a Los Angeles Superior Court judgment finalized the dissolution of marriage of the two on Tuesday, March 19, six months after the 30-year-old pop star filed for divorce due to “irreconcilable differences.”
Under the settlement, Ariana will make a one-time payment of $1.25 million (nearly P70 million) to Dalton and will give half of the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles home. She will also pay for Dalton's attorney fees worth $25,000 (P1.3 million) but without future alimony.
According to court papers, the two separated in February 2023 and “had a prenuptial agreement in place,” as per AP. They added that there were no legal disputes, and they had no children.
Ariana and Dalton got married in a private ceremony at her Montecito home in California last May 2021.
They sparked dating rumors in 2020 after being spotted kissing at a restaurant in Los Angeles, they confirmed their romance after Dalton appeared in the music video of Ariana and Justin Bieber's song Stuck With U the following May.
