Hilary Duff's husband, Matthew Koma, slams 'most self-obsessed, tone deaf person' amid Ashley Tisdale issue
Matthew Koma seemingly threw shade at Ashley Tisdale, who recently revealed she has left a "toxic mom group" that many believe included his wife, Hilary Duff.
On Wednesday, the music producer took to Instagram Stories to share a parody of The Cut’s cover, featuring his own face photoshopped onto the actress's body.
In the false cover, he added the headline: "When You're The Most Self Obsessed Tone Deaf Person On Earth, Other Moms Tend To Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers."
The sub-headline read, "A Mom Group Tell All Through A Father's Eyes."
"Read my new interview with @TheCut," Koma wrote his Instagram post.
Koma appears to have taken a dig at Tisdale's piece on The Cut, which was published on Jan. 6. There, she shared about leaving a friend group because she felt "hurt, drained or left out," saying there were times when she wasn't invited to group hangs.
"Choosing to step away doesn’t make you mean or judgmental. It makes you honest with yourself. It’s also worth remembering that friendships, like all relationships, have seasons," she wrote.
While the former Disney star did not specify who was in her mom group, some photos shared on social media by Entertainment Tonight show her going on a weekend getaway with fellow moms that included celebrities Duff and Meghan Trainor. Mandy Moore is also reportedly a part of the mom group. Keen social media observers noticed that Tisdale has unfollowed Duff and Moore.
Tisdale's rep, however, denied these, clarifying that the piece was meant to spotlight the issue of social isolation within peer groups.
